@aral@ianstormtaylor@jshawl@jongold@laurakalbag could make such an epic grid system with element based break points. -
@mrwigster The idea is that if you had proper break points, you won’t _need_ a grid system :)@ianstormtaylor@jshawl@jongold@laurakalbag

@aral I spoke to Bert Bos once about this, he was quite interested in the idea but saw some difficulties. Rendering this is hard. -
@wesoudshoorn@aral I asked@tabatkins about this very issue during CSSday. And the biggest problem currently is how to resolve recursion :( -
@ysbreker@wesoudshoorn@tabatkins Realise it is a difficult problem but when has that ever stopped us from implementing the right solution? -
@aral@ysbreker@tabatkins It should not and will not. What can we as a community do to get this solved and implemented?

@aral later CSS rules can change the width of earlier rendered elements, you could even get stuck in some sort of infinite loop.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
