Dear official Twitter app on Android, why can't I enter empty lines? Had to copy and paste from another app. Please fix this bug.
@pubstrat Gotta love Android fragmentation, eh? :-) (The problem is with the stock keyboard on Google's flagship phone.)

@aral That's even weirder then - I *only* use the stock nexus keyboard for line breaks in Twitter, everything else is better with Swype -
@pubstrat Could you tweet me a screenshot of the keyboard. Maybe I’m missing something? (Do you use the official Twitter app?) -
@aral Here you go, with enter key where you would expect. Official app, stock keyboard, nexus 7 https://twitter.com/pubstrat/status/359232053222457345/photo/1pic.twitter.com/UqEZSUPtmv -
@pubstrat Ah, Nexus 7! The problem is on the Nexus 4 only. Just tried on the 7 and I have the same keyboard as yours (as expected) :-) -
@aral Which answers one question and just leaves a bigger one up in the air -
@pubstrat The folks at Twitter are aware of the bug now :-)

@aral that's the advantage of Android, if a stock app doesn't quite do what you want, install another app that will.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
