    Don’t get me wrong, I’ve nothing against PHP; use what works for you. I was saying it’s a lousy first language to teach programming with.

        @aral PHP is great to teach web development as there is a direct connection between file,URL and response.No app servers, just upload and go

        @aral As someone who started with PHP I have to agree. I've learnt to work with it, but it's like using English to explain Latin descendants
