@chrisdaaaaay Maybe meaningless is the wrong word—they can be far worse than that and can actually be dangerous; leading us to focus… -
@aral they can lead to wrong assumptions, but sometimes its interesting to hear what those are and see what people think might happen. -
@chrisdaaaaay Indeed; definitely have uses. My point was more that we are obsessed with them/focus on them too much :) -
@aral I guess so :) but as long as you back them up with a good set of clickable wireframes I find its ok, it is indeed dangerous without.

@aral animated GIFs instead of PSDs then? -
@dbennettweb Definitely better. Ideally, interactive prototypes but at least a video shows how it behaves if not necessarily how it feels.

@aral Totally agree. The tools are holding most designers back. Even when I make prototypes I'm bouncing in & out of Photoshop. -
-
@Niaccurshi@rsg Agree that processes are core problem. Focus on tools and having tools dictate processes also problems. -

@aral In connection to "how it behaves", I sometimes use this app to show kind of how an app can work. http://popapp.in -

@fbbernardo Wow. Cool. Let me give it a try.@aral

@aral I was thinking of a while ago developing a mockup tool that is interactive. Something very simple to use and to show examples etc. -
@sam_benne@aral I demand an export-to-animated-GIF feature, and don't you dare go excluding marquees!
