@LeaVerou Reading up on that now. Do you have a good reference link? Is that true on all browsers? (Will test + update).
@ppk I tweak the root not size at breakpoints to make the whole design (specified in rems) scale up and down in proportion.

@aral And I found no problems in supporting desktop browsers. So I guess it should work. -
@ppk ‘Thanks ppk, I appreciate it’ is what I meant to write, of course :) -
@aral I just think you should set the HTML element's font-size in pixels, just to be safe. But you were doing that already. -
@ppk Re: ‘just to be safe’ — do you know what could go wrong otherwise? -
@aral Anything can go wrong. px is the root unit, so keep to that one. But it's just a safety measure. -
@ppk Gotcha :) -
@aral You did test this on Android, didn't you? You should. You definitely should. -
@ppk Yep. Will do again.

@aral Well, on mobiles and tablets there won't be a problem, since the entire page is zoomed, and layout is not recalculated.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
