@aral ok, I think we need to draw the line here, applying stereotypes to people based where they work is not the way to go about this

@daviddixon Really? That he chooses to work somewhere where they objectify women daily has no bearing on his views on sexism? Seriously? -
@aral eg I don’t need to like football to build a football site or gambling or women’s shoes etc. -
@daviddixon You choose where you work. If your ethics do not agree, don’t work there. Simple. -
@aral that pretty gross over simplification and also not really relevant to the point, but I’m sure you know that -
@daviddixon Not at all. We all make choices about how we live and that includes who we support by working there. -
@aral you cannot dismiss someone’s based on their personal circumstances. You can only dismiss their views. -
@daviddixon You make it sound like they have no choice but to work there. We always have choices. - 5 more replies

@aral I'm leaving the other guy out of this, but well, do you think less of me because of where I work? -
@mattycurry I’d say there’s a big difference between a company that makes sex toys and one that peddles porn. -
@aral but it's not a huge difference - we do deal with porn stars, and things like fleshlight, which are very porny
