It’s funny how the more people tell me to shut up about something, the more I realise that it is important for us to keep talking about it.
@mvriel Sometimes you have to bring the problem to light. Especially if there’s denial that there _is_ a problem to begin with.

@aral there is a difference between confronting and 'naming and shaming'. I experience some of your texts to border bashing rather closely -
@mvriel If there’s anything anyone is ashamed of, they shouldn‘t tweet it. I only compiled public tweets that people put their names to. -
@aral you compiled tweets and accompany them with cynic and sarcastic comments. Nothing wrong with compiling but is it necessary to shame? -
@mvriel I can only imagine that I must have thought that it was necessary to do what I ended up doing or else I wouldn’t have done it. -
@aral in a spur of emotion we can all say inappropriate things and even harmful things. Does that make it necessary? I believe not. -
