@aral Can happen w/ any airline. They’re paranoid, FAs are not very intelligent, pilots have 0 social skills. Airpt security are underpaid

@sibweber The worst experiences I’ve had have been with US airline companies. I won’t willingly subject myself to such crappy treatment. -
@aral Maybe they’re even worse but in general police, security, immigration, pilots, FAs all suffer from ‘pathology of power’. Scary.

@aral I have reasons too.. mainly the staff are rude, the food is the worst.. and worryingly their planes always seem in awful disrepair.. -
@cliffrowley Check, check, and check. Not to mention, as a foreigner, you’re basically treated like a terrorist waiting to happen. -
@aral haven't flown to the US a few years now, but on one occasion I did have to sit for a while in a room where I clearly didn't belong

@aral I was held by DHS for reading Flight Charts on a plane once. But they were actually very friendly (and a bit ashamed)Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
