@aral It seems to be a USB audio-over-Thunderbolt issue. Do you have other devices (printer, phone) connected?

@AJKandy Hmm, phone. Usually means I have to open the clamshell, close the clamshell. Fun :) -
@aral yeah, that seems to be the common fix; either plug/unplug and see if USB comes back on other devices, or sleep/wake. -
@AJKandy This time, it was an ‘unplug the thunderbolt cable, replug the thunderbolt cable’ fix. -
