@aral IMO a lot of sites ask for a password again when you do something important because what if someone comes and clicks it for you?

@JurieOnGames I seriously don’t think that’s ever going to be a widespread problem :) -
@aral You’re in a coffee shop, someone comes over and deletes your Facebook/Amazon/etc. account? :) (Maybe I didn’t get your Apple problem.) -
@JurieOnGames I mean I don’t see it being a problem *in this specific instance*. Worst case scenario, a call/email to Apple support.

@aral Agreed. Another consideration, obviously, is making sure billing and address info is up-to-date. That seems trivial to handle, though. -
@mattbraun Yeah, they could even handle that at given times in the year via worker processes. Can happen in the background. -
@aral I’ve always wondered if the process was designed to continually cull accounts that aren’t contributing much. Conspiracy theory. :)

@aral It seems vaguely as if it's based on the GoDaddy domain renewal process: escalating doomy warnings followed by a weird checkout.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@aral I question even the need to renew… auto-renew unless I choose not to?Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@aral Nothing in the developer program feels like it’s actually part of Apple. It’s easier to buy $3k worth of hardware than renew dev acct.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
