Isn't that how we got the gap in States? People first made fun of each other, then shamed, and then to decided to avoid each other. Shaming is what exits your mouth, but it's up to another side to interpret it.

There is a term called - Imaginative Resistance (nice video with examples in philosophy and psychology https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AeCShGPM4F0 … ). The gist - when you pose different set of morals to people, they would reject it, regardless of quality. Usually shaming ends in alienation.
