@aral I purchased @betterblocker for Mac and really like it and am thinking of getting it for iOS, but currently use @purify_app and am looking to find out how it better differs from Purify. I’ve trawled Google and found nothing. Could you tell me the difference?
Hey Matt, happy to hear you’re enjoying Better on Mac. Had a quick look on Purify’s site now; looks like a similar featureset but couldn’t find info on what exactly it’s blocking. We curate our own set: https://better.fyi/trackers and our source code is here:https://source.ind.ie/better

I’ve decided to download Better for iOS. I like that my exceptions sync between Mac and iOS. I was under the impression that purify used UBlock and it’s data for blocking but can’t find anything to reference how it figures out what to block.

If it’s the same lists as uBlock then it’s EasyList (what nearly everyone uses). That’s not a criticism, by the way, but one of the reasons we built better is because I wanted to fully understand and curate the block rules.
