Rule of thumb: If an organisation is talking about “data privacy”, they mean “data security”. Data has no human rights (like privacy), people do. It's too bad regular people can't digitally sign our data with private keys issued by the governmnet. Corporations can. But I can't...that digsig won't be accepted in a court of law. We have techno-libertarian skepticism of democratic governments to thank for this
