Why would the website be a processor? The data collected by GF isn't distributed to the website for processing...

Agreed. Which is what has been consistently reproached on GitHub, and repeats itself here. The only conclusion I can get to is that this is the UD in FUD to cover something shady. Not a surprise, either: Google never liked us to realise GA+CDN+mail+GWT+DNS+… are its sensors.

But then I don't understand why you speak like a company that has something to hide. It's simple to say “as I understand it in my own capacity, Fonts collects that and that, and there's no reason to be concerned”. Your personal & official statements are as cryptic

they say that clarified the situation for them. Folks who say all CDNs are immoral can't be pleased. Folks who want clarification on the gdpr got it. And folks who don't appear to understand what the official statement said, I'm not sure how to explain it to them.

But you do understand what Google’s business model is, right? You do know that it makes its money and pays your salary by violating people’s privacy by tracking their behaviour, profiling them, and monetising that intimate insight into their lives.
