The Kickstarter Union organizing began after employees resisted a decision from mgmt to take down a satirical comic book about punching Nazis following an article on Breitbart. Workers feared bending to the demands of far right trolls in the future and decided to start organizing
Can you explain 36-47 vote? Is that a typo, or did they just need 40% approval?
How does the vote work? '36 to 47 in favor of unionizing' but that seems like the vote lost? Or am I misreading or misunderstanding it?
My hope is this may inspire other tech workers to unionize. Would be huge
