It would be hilarious if they make her like Andromeda's anime counterpart. While in the manga he was a pacificst who could kick ass when he wanted, in the anime he spent most of the time whinning about not wanting to fight and crying for his brother to come and save him.

I hope Japan does not other bad habits from the west..... I am actually watching more Japanese animation and reading more Japanese comics than US ones now because in most cases they aren’t censored and tell great stories. I really hope that does not change.

All the issues aside of making Shun a girl. Where is his mask? All female saints are required to wear masks lol. You can't get change a character in such a fundamental level and forget the consequences

Do these people know that it's okay to have strong female characters that aren't a part of the main cast? And if it's that much of a big deal, then you should MAKE YOUR ANIME WITH A STRONG FEMALE PROTAGONIST!!!

Seriously? I get that Andromeda Shun's a rather effeminate soft spoken dude, but was it seriously necessary to make him a girl?!pic.twitter.com/q2K6Ah5iMA

Saint Seiya like other series like Mazinger Z and Macross are still popular in Latin America and various parts of Europe.
