    I love Super Bowl statistics. (“No team that has failed to convert at least 35% of their 3rd downs has gone on to win” etc.) They are the best introduction to p-hacking that can be found outside major journals.

    I’m late with this, but geez, what a big decade the 2010s were for science. We got: the Higgs boson, CRISPR, gravitational waves, deep learning, quantum computers, 1000s of exoplanets, black hole photo. Looking at you, 2020s.

    apps I've loved in 2019: productive: downloaded it at the beginning of 2019 to build and maintain better habits and oh boy, has it made a difference. 100% recommended notability: I was dog shit at taking notes, still am, but this has helped tremendously mint: to track finances
