It's a bit odd to accept "proof of recovery" when we know that a recovery one week could, in theory, lead to an infection the next week. Similarly with a test, of course, but I'd feel better knowing that people next to me on the plane had a recent negative test.
-
Also, "proof of recovery" isn't a clear measure, whereas a negative PCR test is much closer to a standardized measure/signal.

That does not make sense - we should provide more incentives for vaccination. If two doses complete then fine (but mask still required)

So people who get immune due to an actual infection have sterilizing immunity?

How is a vaccinated person any different in status to someone who recovered from covid?
-
Infection = immunity. Inoculation = we don’t know yet.

So I’ll just get an antibody test after my vaccine?

This really is something else ... And the people who still bizarrely deny natural immunity aren’t going to like this one bit
-
No one denies acquired immunity exists. They deny that it’s possible or ethical to make everyone sick to reach herd immunity.
