I was so incredibly terrified after the Valentine's card incident, fearing being physically violated the entire time. The only reason I managed to get through that day without full on breaking down is because I had other friends keeping a close eye on me
I'm so angry was that he almost robbed from me the community of friends who I love and enjoy being around so much. I know that as a cis male I'm privileged with having more autonomy over my situation, and I'm furious for all of the women who've endured far worse than me
It's still important that men know they should ask for help and reach out if they feel threatened or unsafe. I don't want anyone to have to go through the terror I did. Fuck pedophiles, fuck harassers, and fuck anyone who threatens the safety of our community.

Also I feel like I should clarify that everyone at UMass has been super supportive + helpful and have been a welcoming community to me. They've done the most they can to get this creep out of our community for good, and I'm very thankful for them
