I've just given up trying to explain why "reverse racism" and "heterophobia" don't actually exist to edgy centrist gamers, I end up becoming frustrated and they don't actually learn anything because they don't have the empathy to actually process how minorities feel

It's really tiring, yeah. I just try my best to curate my interactions with other gaming communities online to avoid that, but it still comes up from time to time, I don't blame ya. It feels like slamming your head against a brick wall and no one has the stamina for that
