I can attest to this (2nd? generation) I grew up with my paternal grandmother cutting and peeling fruit for me when I was a kid. She still offers to cut and peel me fruit. My maternal grandparents would let me gather fruit for them (mango/lychee/coconut) and they would prepare it

It's such a simple thing but it's grown on me so much, I hope I'll keep up the tradition for my kids some point down the line. Sometimes you just gotta check in and offer them something sweet and healthy
