so I house rule that you can cast 2 spells in one turn if one is a bonus action and one is a full action regardless of slot level. I'm gonna keep it cause I think it's fun, but what are some potential ways it can break the game that I should keep in mind?
I guess the original point of the rule is balancing the otherwise insane damage output of casters to the level of other classes. Being able to cast a high level spiritual weapon on top of a big attack spell is a damage output that no martial class could ever compete with
Overall being able to cast multiple leveled spells in a turn has it's drawbacks like burning spells too quickly, but it can be abused in ways that make other players feel less important. Ultimately however you should stick with what's the most fun for you and your players :)
