For myself and I think a lot of others like me, school is a place that helps us have a consistent place to meet friends, be away from home, and do other activities that help us cope with our mental illnesses and take care of our mental health (1/5)
I hope that as time goes on we can find ways to adapt and make do with the current situation to the best of our ability, but it's really painful having made so many positive developments in college just to have them all wrenched away so abruptly (2/5)
Being at home is really tough, I can barely even start my slowly building pile of schoolwork without immediately feeling unmotivated and anxious. I don't think there's an easy solution, unfortunately it's a tragedy we don't have full control over... (3/5)
but I hope that we can find ways to socialize and maintain those positive developments we've been working so hard towards, because I know many of us are going through bad financial issues and health issues and I don't want that to be compounded with suffering mental health (4/5)
The point is that I love you all very much and I do believe that, with help from others and patience with ourselves, we'll be able to hold on through the storm. Take care of yourselves, have a good rest of your day (5/5)
