Hate to be that person to point this out. Why do White LGBT people overuse the word minority about themselves? Y'all are still White lol Nothing minority about that. I say this cause many of them act like they have it worse than people of color and love to forget LGBT POC exist
As a brown queer guy it's always conflicting for me. I obviously have solidarity with white LGBT people because we end up having similar experiences and hardships, but then when it comes to also being Indian it just feels like I have no one to turn to
I know what you mean. Being a Brown queer myself. I can relate to being gay with them but they cannot understand what its like being Brown and gay and usually don't care sadly which makes us lgbt of color feel left out
