3) Definitely a half elf arcane trickster. Half elves have so much RP and story potential due to their backgrounds while rogues have amazing utility and are sneaky and tactical. Giving them magic makes for a lot of mischievous mayhem, especially minor Illusion ;)
4) If I'm looking for optimal play I'd improve intelligence since it's what I need for my field, but personally I'd really like to work on my charisma since it can be a weakness for me. Unless there's a stat for self-confidence...
5) During in the final battle of a 6 month campaign my rogue who had redeemed his life of crime as a priest ascended to an angel in order to save his friends. However, it was at the cost of becoming the goddesses' servant and leaving the material plane and his companions forever
6) In a campaign where we knew one member in the party was a traitor, we were climbing a dungeon. During a battle my hydromancer Jace had just discovered who the traitor was but had been badly injured. He was quietly killed but not before he left behind his journal with his notes
7) I've actually thought about this question a lot and while mage hand or prestidigitation seem like amazing utility I would take guidance. The cantrip increases your ability to do anything. History midterm coming up? Bonus to history checks. Asking someone out? Extra persuasion
8) I almost always play classes with high dexterity and because it's a very niche yet useful role I also take a high intelligence and skills in intelligence. Therefore arcane trickster is perfect for me (see question 3)
9) This set of dice is personally really important to me since it was given to me by someone who I really care about, one of the first people I ever played DnD with. The picture doesn't possibly do it justice but they sparkle in the light and they're just so prettypic.twitter.com/aJWueB2aRH
10) Here's my explanation for the middle schoolers I worked with: Imagine that the game is like a book except all of the players are all the main characters in the story. One person is the narrator and explains what is happening and sets the scene while the players act it out
11) God I will NEVER shut up about Critical Role. They are such a group of talented, kind-hearted, and dedicated people who tell amazing stories and produce incredibly creative content. If you ever have the chance, please take a look at campaign 2 and see how you enjoy it
