I say option two. Never just follow along with what your told. Our generation has a problem with repeating things without researching and trusting people we shouldn't.

Depends on the issue. Lately I have released that being silent is not enough. For important issues (harassment, taxes, healthcare), you need to stand up and speak loudly.

Loud is useful in some situations. I don't think that spiritual asention or understanding of sorce truth required anything other than unity of spirit and soul as well as intentions.

Somewhere along the line we went from "everyone is entitled to their opinion" to "everyone has a valid opinion". Not at all the same thing.
