There’s a time to make statements, a time to ask question, and a time to shut up and listen to the experts. Option 3 should be utilized in most cases.

One of my favorite lines - I would rather remain silent and be thought an idiot then open my mouth, and remove all doubt.

And this is one of those times when the correct use of “than”, not “then” is important 👌🏻

I say option two. Never just follow along with what your told. Our generation has a problem with repeating things without researching and trusting people we shouldn't.

I agree but it seems experts are being put under a gag order.

The problem comes in trying to determine who the experts are.

Depends on the issue. Lately I have released that being silent is not enough. For important issues (harassment, taxes, healthcare), you need to stand up and speak loudly.

Loud is useful in some situations. I don't think that spiritual asention or understanding of sorce truth required anything other than unity of spirit and soul as well as intentions.

Are u sure these are options? I guess they are steps that can be taken in reverse order. 1)shut up and listen to the experts Then ask questions And then make a statement

Somewhere along the line we went from "everyone is entitled to their opinion" to "everyone has a valid opinion". Not at all the same thing.
