dude militia didn't mean that in 1780's every able bodied man was a member of the militia by definition

I think by malitia he means the right to bear arms was our right to fight against our own government should they ever become oppressive. The point that he made is that your AR-15 is nothing compared to a tank, a bomb, mines, drones, nerve agents, and all the other stuff they have
-
Um, tell that to the Vietnamese, or for that matter the Iraqis or Afgans.
-
I think on a local scale, but federally I'm skeptical. perhaps I shouldn't be. nonetheless the mass shooting issue should be addressed in some matter.
-
Look how our government treats us now. You really think that gets better if we disarm??
-
honestly I see both sides of the argument. I just dont know the solution. we need to fix so many aspects of our country to restore our bigger picture. perhaps several small problems create one large one.
-
under uncertainty, decentralize top-down authority; especially at large scales; hence
#2A -
Start teaching the Constitution and Bill of Rights in our schools. Enough education about "how do you self identify today Johnny? Well, today I'm a girl". Progressives are the down fall of our country.

So you are yet another person that states the Constitution is outdated and lets just tear it up and wing it from here on out - let's let people that "act" for a living decide whats best for our country - yeah sounds legit
-
He cannot tell me that in his career, he has not had an armed body guard or detail. Must be nice to be the 1%
-
He is pretty honest about the fact that he does have guns. I am 100% for 2A, but I would be lying if I said I didn't know people that have guns that I don't think should....
-
And what standard do you use? That is the issue. You might think they shouldn't have them, but who made you the final arbiter? We already take guns from felons, mentally ill, abusers, etc... Who else should we take them from?
-
I use the getting drunk, snorting coke, paranoid standard. Yes, two have used them. One murdered and another has pulled his multiple times and yet another posts about his dreams of someone unlawfully entering his house. Those standards work for you?
-
I’m pro 2A and I’ll answer Yes. Those standard would work for me. Hell, I’d hope someone would take my guns if I ever got that way.
-
Exactly!
-
Those standards are in place. People who even smoke Weed can't legally buy a gun. A big problem is Dems don't enforce the law, and it seems like they're hoping for gun violence. Their focus is on law abiding gun owners with insane bullshit and dishonest arguments. Goal? Take Gunspic.twitter.com/P8y9MwJT65

We have a people problem, not a gun problem. Our jails are full because people have lost respect for others and only look out for themselves. Fix the people problem and guns won’t be an issue. Acting like guns are the problem is just ignorance.
-
Acting as if guns aren’t the major contributor to the issue is ignorance. The gun gives psychotic people like this the ability to kill large amounts of people quickly. Take that tool away from them then, what are they going to do? Cause a massacre with a knife?
-
That's what's happening in Europe where guns are highly restricted. It's a people issue. We had lots of guns 20 years ago and less crime. Our country's drift towards progressive liberalism is the problem.

Not to mention "well regulated" militia is right there in the amendment. I would argue that poor regulation is a violation of the 2nd amendment
-
How much more “well regulated” can California be? You may also want to read beyond the first 3 words, read the federalist and antifederalist papers, learn the history... but that would require thought
-
It would be really dumb to think our founding fathers would write government control OF the people in a document
#COTUS written solely to control government FOR the people. https://twitter.com/sunraybreaker/status/1060746617542897664?s=21 … Clueless#gunsense arguments
-
Ashton, serious question: Why do you want the same government, who is failing to enforce existing laws that would have stopped most of these murders, to have more control of your rights? https://twitter.com/aplusk/status/1060739838582779904?s=21 … Hollywood
#gunsense is so out of touch with reality! -
He’s got some balls considering he has armed security, good for them, but not for us

them -
“But it’s the SECURITY that’s armed, not him...” or some bs like that
