The right to bear arms was built on the notion that we could form a militia to fight back against an unjust government. Is that realistic today? A nuclear bomb is an arm. Do you have the right to own that? Gun Reform Now!! No one is taking your guns.

I think by malitia he means the right to bear arms was our right to fight against our own government should they ever become oppressive. The point that he made is that your AR-15 is nothing compared to a tank, a bomb, mines, drones, nerve agents, and all the other stuff they have

I think on a local scale, but federally I'm skeptical. perhaps I shouldn't be. nonetheless the mass shooting issue should be addressed in some matter.

honestly I see both sides of the argument. I just dont know the solution. we need to fix so many aspects of our country to restore our bigger picture. perhaps several small problems create one large one.

Those standards are in place. People who even smoke Weed can't legally buy a gun. A big problem is Dems don't enforce the law, and it seems like they're hoping for gun violence. Their focus is on law abiding gun owners with insane bullshit and dishonest arguments. Goal? Take Gunspic.twitter.com/P8y9MwJT65

We have a people problem, not a gun problem. Our jails are full because people have lost respect for others and only look out for themselves. Fix the people problem and guns won’t be an issue. Acting like guns are the problem is just ignorance.

Acting as if guns aren’t the major contributor to the issue is ignorance. The gun gives psychotic people like this the ability to kill large amounts of people quickly. Take that tool away from them then, what are they going to do? Cause a massacre with a knife?

That's what's happening in Europe where guns are highly restricted. It's a people issue. We had lots of guns 20 years ago and less crime. Our country's drift towards progressive liberalism is the problem. 🇺🇸
