Or do you mean the good guys that helped overthrow a democratically elected president in Iran and replace him with the Shah, a brutal dictator, which in turn led to the Iranian Revolution and Khomeini?

The good guys (CIA) that ran Operation Mockingbird, to influence media beginning of the 1950s?
-
Or how about good guys like Patrick Peyton, one of the key CIA operatives in the 1964 military coup in Brazil?
-
Or the 5 agents in a white pickup at
#Parkland -
The very same good guys that launched Operation Timber Sycamore to destabilise Syria to overthrow Assad? The same CIA that spent millions of dollars putting microphones in a cat for Operation Acoustic Kitty so they could spy on their own people, only for the cat to be ran over?

real talk, if you actually read JFK's "ask not what your country"-speech, he talks about instituting more socially democratic programs and stopping the control of society by the hands of the few. its no surprise the gov had him killed. real. talk.

it's too bad very few people actually read/reflect on history from even just a few decades ago:pic.twitter.com/0NdKCu1UuT

The fog surrounding the truth. US was never a true Democracy. It’s policies do not changed no matter what party is sitting at the WH. What changes is how fast, and how much richer the rich get.
-
totally agree. thats why they repeat over and over “our democracy”, precisely because thats what it’s not. its also why this website (and others) are called “social media”, precisely because that’s what they are not, they are quite literally anti-social in the conventional sense
