The Uyghurs are a much more repressed group. We may be able to limit the American camps with a Democratic congress or mass protests blocking the trucks, and civil disobedience. China is a much more complicated magnet to unravel with how to get them to stop doing this.

True. My point is that when the US is doing something like that, we should not be shocked that other less-democratic countries night feel safe following suit with their own human rights abuses.

"Ethnic minority Muslims" probably means people of an ethnic minority who also happen to be Muslim. It implies that they might only be targeting non-Chinese Muslims for these camps.

I figured that, but I get so tired of "professional" writers that operate on a high school level. The misleading, clumsy, awkward...or dowright embarrassing titles, not to mention the stories themselves are infuriating.
