AJ, DJT and others play a media game in which civil discourse is not in the playbook. For those who don't like their message, there are at least two approaches: (1) embrace the attention economy and drive an alternative message and (2) figure out a new business model.

Since when is it considered "multilingual" if you translate into just Spanish?? That's bilingual. Mandarin too? That's trilingual. I ran a 14 language phone bank in LA and OC - now THAT is multilingual. Step up your game, people - multilingual tactics are important.

Some good writing from on what alternative metrics for the intertubes might look like: "As long as there continues to be such a thing as virality, can we truly get beyond an internet that is more than marketplaces for attention?"
