Because I think we can always improve.

Not much in law functions optimally well unless lawyers, leaders and their teams are well.

My why? I want to build the future of the practice of law. This is a team sport because we operate in a system context. The work matters because law is critical infrastructure for civil society. And an empowering society allows us to find the best of who we are as human beings.

With great power comes great responsibility. And when you can see opportunities that others can't, you have great power. So I feel obliged to reveal the opportunities, and show how to seize them. Because I believe we want to and can make things better.

Anusia, Not sure I have a good answer. In my head I can see something a lot better. The closest thing I can think of the biblical parable about talents; burying them is the worst possible outcome. Also I want to live free from fear.

Its not only access to justice, it should be innovative access to justice for all, not for big corporations. Our why should answer the call of the unlawyered ones.

My simple answer is I want our profession to be more inclusive, affordable and efficient so that everyone can have access to legal services. The way I do that is writing compelling, fact-based articles that lawyers can use to model how to implement change in their practice.
