    So many frameworks claim to be "serverless" and "reactive" but so tightly bound to REST. Rest is cool as its simple but REST presupposes a transport HTTP which is blocking and synchronous so terrible for "reactive.

    There are even ways to architect value transactions in an eventuality consistent manner. But let’s deal with that on another day. I am using this to illustrate that the level of accuracy desired varies based on context

    If you can determine which of your reads require which degreee of accuracy you can effectively manage this. A value transaction in a bank (available funds before a payment) requires a higher degree of accuracy than than the balance for market segmentation

    The benefit is that eventually consistent systems are easily distributed and scaled out. On the flip side, calculating the accurate state of the system on demand is expensive and complex. But it keeps you from reliance on centralized monoliths like XA.

    Eventual consistency does not mean that your system HAS to be inaccurate, not for a short time, not ever. While your system will be consistent eventually you can still build a system that can provide you the latest state by calculating on demand.
