        Big industries couldn't compete with polish and German mines, steel in India and China. We are left with specialist industries, employ less.

      The state our own towns isn't down to a particular political party, it's down to the economy. Towns need to offer more than shops.

      They paid around £6m on new indoor market, sold it for £3m, + will clear site. Abbott monetary budgeting. Should redesign centre altogether.
