Retweet if you want to see giving a talk live while in the bath. Like if you already have.

We're all very aware that technology has a huge representation problem. I absolutely adore the .NET community that has been my "spiritual home" for almost two decades. But here's an uncomfortable truth - it's a number of orders of magnitude worse in our community. 1/?

For me, the pure / vanilla form reveals bad code hygiene much sooner and may cause me to alter my design. DI containers usually tend to hide that and feel like a composition afterthought, not even part of my testing strategy.

1:00 local time. Tomorrow's gonna be a long day lol. But I'm perfectly fine here. Never lost power. All that snow can be tossed into the bathtub to start off with. And if I really need to get outside there's always the kitchen window.

When I endorse Pure DI/Vanilla DI I often get the pushback that it requires more code than using a DI Container. demonstrates (with the unwitting assistance of ) how the opposite is true. Pure DI/Vanilla DI is simpler, shorter, & safer than containers.

I'm writing an article on "Contract invariants, DDD invariants and how they differ". As invariant is a word both use it's very easy to get confused, especially when they share some common properties.

Easy path to be a expert: 1- talk to the domain experts 2- be a domain expert yourself 3- find a way to implement a solution to your problems focusing on business only, and keep everthing else (database, ui, external api...) easy to change without breaking your business

Yes, in terms of CQS. I've seen this rule violated, for valid reasons, in some rare cases.

If you're using event sourcing in , if you have a set of invariants which are enforced on all operations which are writing to the same stream, then you have an aggregate, even if it's not explicitly modeled in code

I've finished reading "Kubernetes in action". Highly recommended! The author have made a great job keeping a rather boring technical book, easy and pleasant to read.
