What I love about
#Malbec... 1. It’s genuine. Native to Argentina. It’s not native to any other country. Chile is most famous for Merlot, but Merlot is not native to Chile. 2. Price inflation hasn’t hit Malbec like it has with Pinot and Cabernet. The best Malbec is still <$30. -
The Malbec grape is native to the South West of France in the Cahors region. But it’s certainly best known as an Argentinian variety. The French ones are worth a try, a little less fruit-forward.
