Re: charging, superchargers get the job done in 45 minutes now, and drivers surely have downtime already for meals and such.

Ride-hailing drivers do not buy new vehicles. They buy used and the used EV market is not exactly robust. It will take several more years but EVs will dominate, particularly since battery longevity is not an issue.
EVs depreciate a lot less, which isn’t good in this case.
