Re: charging, superchargers get the job done in 45 minutes now, and drivers surely have downtime already for meals and such.

Tesla does not permit ride hailing drivers to use Superchargers. That is why you see taxi companies in NYC and London switch to EVs and set up their own charging infrastructure. Ride hailing is trailing. For now. It’ll happen. Just needs more cheap EVs and more fast chargers.

Supercharger network exists so that normal people can go anywhere without range anxiety or long charging pauses. It does not exist (at least for now) to enable other people’s business models.
