Washington bars, where lots of 'bars' are really bar/restaurants, do this COVID thing where they remove all the seats from the bar, and become a conventional sit-down restaurant. The vibe is totally different, to not say sadly degraded. UI is absolutely definitive.

In Texas we’ve seen bars bring in food trucks so they can be reclassified as restaurants. Public health rules seems to be similar to the tax code. There is usually a way around the rules.
Interesting. This all seems a bit fanciful given what we know about airborne transmission. Here's to returning to 'normal'.
