Listening to a marvelous @tylercowen/@DanaGioiaPoet podcast, like an idiot, I mismanaged gas and ended up having to draft behind a semi and coast down hills to make it on fumes to a desolate-looking gas station where this was on the screen.

The place is not without its charms. Pygmy goats and llamas were present. Inside, copies of the Book of Mormon were on offer and the owner had a pump-action shotgun on the counter he was working on. Congrats on making to the gas station. I have literally had my engine die a block from a gas station coasting downhill and making it there, more than once. It produces a sick sort of euphoria for me
