You can get a car loan (a depreciating asset) at 2% these days. Odd things happen when money gets very cheap.

Not clear how this plus all the liquidity injection doesn't create massive inflation at some point.

We haven’t seen inflation at > 4.0% since in 1991. The combination of highly elastic overseas manufacturing capacity and a competent Federal Reserve has controlled inflation. If 2007-2009 didn’t result in high inflation, hard to see why it would happen now.pic.twitter.com/ZcSwzSQCPP
