You can get a car loan (a depreciating asset) at 2% these days. Odd things happen when money gets very cheap.

I bought an F-150 off
@Carvana in late 2019. This car is now worth $3000 more than I paid for it. Maybe it's supply constraints. More likely it's that the money's gotten less valuable.

Ford stopped production in 2020, along with recent news of less production as there’s a chip shortage. Paired with the shuttering of many of the production lines for other models, there’s just a supply problem across all car dealers while demand has increased.
