Accepting recommendations for Seattle Reform synagogues. Long story. Looking for something not too posh, but not a bunch of hippies clapping hands in a circle either. Ideally, with members who cover the age spectrum.

More than anything, I'd just like a read on the six or so synagogues in the Seattle area. I have really nothing to go by other than a website.

Yelp for G*d? Satisfaction / Salvation guaranteed! Shopping around for a faith or congregation is probably the most quintessentially "American" way to do religion. Restlessness & rootlessness is in our blood. Our emigrant ancestors were selected for it.

No, in Judaism it makes perfect sense. Different congregations have different feels, personalities, views on Israel etc.

Right. The half-dozen I found, they all project very different vibes. Not sure what to do, other than visit every single one.

I think you should visit each one because the idea has a romcom feel and it will end up with you meeting a lovely Jewish girl.
