When will the media realize the Facebook misinformation problem isn't easily fixable via humans or AI, is endemic to a planet's-worth of humans interacting unmediated via social apps, and will always be there in some form, assuming there's a semblance of free speech?

We're the media and we understand this. (Always tickled that you somehow don't count yourself in the media, despite your official hedcut-equivalent for Wired, and many bylines, earning at least part of a living by writing, speaking, etc.)

Meh. I want at least one person with a blue check to call out the aggegregate ill will and bad faith narratives of journalism towards tech. The converse seems sufficiently represented (by almost everyone in the press).

That's become nobody but a total dumbass (looks in mirror) would ever quit tech for journalism (while the reverse is definitely not true). The result is a massive information asymmetry.
