The consensus seems to be that quote-tweeting is OK if you're adding new context. But that self-liking or (gasp!) self-retweeting is pure Twitter onanism.

I think retweeting yourself (i.e. not adding any context, just going for the easy feed re-insertion) is a cardinal sin.
