I reject you’re reductionist labeling. I invest in companies because that pays the bills, but prefer to be thought of first as an artist. It’s just that nobody will buy my crap art.

I aspire to one day invest in companies because "that's what pays the bills". Kind of like I aspire to founding a company "not for the money, but because of the mission"....

I early that’s a lie, it doesn’t pay the bills, it’s all money out, but I’m hoping it pays the retirement bills. Maybe I’ll buy some land by you. The wood cutting pics make me nostalgic for PNW life.

Did I mention the PNW is modeled as being one of the few areas of the US that'll remain happily habitable following climate change?

Do you believe in “the really big one”?

Your yurt is more likely to withstand the big one than my Victorian, despite a fair amount of structural engineering. Seattle might be fucked though.

Fun fact: the only time I’ve ever thought I might seriously die & had to make peace with myself was laying in bed, hung over (after a 21st birthday), in an apartment in Seattle. Given that I didn’t die, it was actually a great experience.

That's a good age and moment to do that, all things considered.
