When I’m struggling, I turn to children’s books. Often children’s fantasy—last time I had a really bad patch, I read A Wrinkle In Time, The Phantom Tollbooth, and Howl’s Moving Castle, and often go back to Tamora Pierce’s Alanna books, too.
