this is incredible: the Squamish Nation is building a ton of dense, eco friendly housing near downtown Vancouver…
and there’s nothing the NIMBYs can do to stop it since it’s Squamish land and not subject to any zoning restrictions

For the same reason the City of Burnaby doesn’t control zoning in Coquitlam:
