Did I miss something here or do they not actually deny the NYTimes claim with any facts/numbers? They’re merely claiming their existence, which serves them firstly, is a fair exchange for paying federal income tax? Hint: they can, and should, do both.

Furthermore, the insinuation they do more for the American system by paying taxes than the NYT does through journalism is laughable. Whether it’s the WSJ or NYT, there’s no price tag to the press acting as the 4th pillar of democracy. This response is nothing but chest pounding.

Oh yeah, so fire that FedEx doesn't push back on the fact they paid $0 in federal taxes last year.

They do pay extensive employment taxes, which, oddly, are federal taxes.
