BREAKING. A DUP spokesperson confirms what Nigel Dodds told me earlier: "Dodds' comments were consistent with Foster's statement on Friday, when the party said the UK must leave the EU as ONE NATION and "in so doing that NO BARRIERS TO TRADE are erected WITHIN THE UK"" (reuters)
Of course the double customs partnership won't work. When the UK's tariffs significantly diverge from the EU's, NI will have to be left behind. It's just a temporary sham to placate the Unionists. @BorisJohnson might not need DUP votes if some @UKLabour get behind a deal etc. But he might also end up in the same boat as @theresa_may and fail to get numbers

I'm a conservative Party member. I voted for Boris, but if he delivers anything that stops the whole of the UK leaving the customs union and the ability to trade freely around the world on our terms then that will be it... it will be the Brexit Party for me. Don't mess it up PM
