"Economist Robin Hanson, rather than reacting to this news like a normal human, decided that … lesson to really be learned here is that there must be a `redistribution of sex.'" No, I compared policies to cut sex & income inequality, but support none of.https://wonkette.com/633206/the-week-in-garbage-men-incels-sympathizers-make-case-for-redistribution-of-vaginas …

One could but it would be a shit argument. Even the Catholic Church allows you to be single and/or celibate. People who don’t want to be aren’t forced to marry. The problem is not redistribution per se. The problem is the comparison itself is stupid and myopic.
-
sure, but the very fact that they limit sex to one person for life is a kind of redistribution. If you were to limit working hours to max 8, some unemployed people might be able to find a job that now can't. Even though no one would be forced to employ anyone.
-
Redistribution is not the problem. The premise that sex is a right or a commodity or the implication thereof by a ham fisted and myopic comparison to income inequality thereof is. Incels think they “deserve” sex and it’s unfair they don’t get it. It’s not and they don’t.
-
sure, Catholic church would agree. They would also say that it is immoral for anyone to has more than one partner, unless the previous one dies. And it is backed by (what they think is) word of god. What do you back that assertion by the way? (Not that I necessarily disagree)
-
What assertion? That incels are the worst intersection of entitlement, privilege, intellectual dishonesty, misogyny, and emotional immaturity? I base that on their discourse. Enough words about scum. I’m done.
-
Your assertion that any form of sex redistribution is automatically about sympathizing with incels.
-
Didn’t assert that. I actually said “redistribution is not the problem”. Truly done.
-
then I am not sure what we even disagree with. I am not in favor of incels, nor do I really support sex redistribution, I just don't think supporting the latter makes you in favor of former.
